The public will be welcomed into the atmosphere of a Mexican Feria, with food, drinks, entertainment
and family games such as the Mexican loteria.

The Brussels Viva México Mariachi Band and The Conekers wind band will perform traditional music
from Oaxaca, Veracruz and Chiapas, creating the typical sound of Mexican municipal bands. A
professional dancer, Gea Zazil, will dance in traditional costumes from these regions.

The tradition of children's piñata has become known internationally. Children are invited to register for
free in advance so they can enjoy this activity to the full and in safety. Register for free.

Fifty musicians of the Brussels Viva México Mariachi and Cesarte vzw orchestra perform the iconic
classical pieces, Moncayo' s Huapango Moncayo and Marquez's Danzón No 2. The professional dancer Martha Kulikowska will be performe on this second piece.

Minister Noel Gónzalez will preside Mexico’s Independence Day ceremony. A climax moment of this party, will be the National Anthem of Mexico performed by all artists of this production, Brussels Mariachi Band, Césarte vzw orchestra, wind band the 'Conekers' and the Tervuren choir.

Brussels Viva México Mariachi makes its first solo performance, singing the traditional rancheras (songs) of Mexico.

This is a chance for all adults with a childlike sense of fun to make and break a piñata. This will be
followed by the traditional Vibora de la Mar and an award for the best traditional Mexican costume. Register for free.

On its second solo appearance, Brussels Viva México Mariachi presents its tropical version. Incorporating percussion instruments and interpreting classic numbers to dance.

The renowned DJ La-Tino will be in charge of setting the scene throughout the party and make the best closing party ever with all the emblematic themes of Mexico
