A captivating guitar duo featuring Isidoro Ramos and David Capilla will open our concert series with an inspiring selection of Mexican music.

Their performance will showcase the work of renowned Mexican composers, including Mauricio Hernández, the acclaimed guitarist who contributed to the soundtrack of the animated film Coco.

In this special segment, four talented solo singers will take the stage to perform some of the greatest songs from the legendary voices of traditional and popular Mexican music, including Juan Gabriel, Javier Solís, Vicente Fernández, Luis Miguel, and many more.

Musicians and dancers from Veracruz, known as Jarochos, will take us on a journey into the heart of Son Jarocho, a vibrant musical tradition from the Gulf Coast of Mexico.

Through the sounds of the Mexican harp and jarana, combined with the powerful rhythm of zapateado, they will show us how this tradition is lived, celebrated, and performed in Veracruz.

Vibrant rhythms, and pure energy

In this edition, our orchestra will be joined by a special guest tenor, whose identity we are keeping as a surprise just for you!

As tradition dictates, the program will begin with a moving performance of the Mexican National Anthem, followed by the Mexican Independence Ceremony.

The celebration will then continue with an exciting medley inspired by the legendary guitarist Carlos Santana, bringing together orchestral sounds and Latin rock in a spectacular finale.

A highlight of this Mexican festival is the Ceremony of the Independence of México lead by Mr Esteban Moctezuma Barragán, the Ambassador of Mexico to the Kingdom of Belgium and the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg Permanent Representative of Mexico to the European Union.

Immediately followed by the National Anthem of Mexico sing by the Mariachi "Viva México" from Brussels, together with CesArte vzw symphony orchestra and choir, windband orchestra Woluweokerst and all Mexicans present.

The Brussels Mariachi Band Viva México brings the heart and soul of Mexico to the stage with the traditional songs known as rancheras, featuring special guest solo singers for an unforgettable musical experience.

Adding to the celebration, our talented folk dancers will showcase the traditional dances of Jalisco, bringing the colors, energy, and rich cultural heritage of Mexico to life.
